Scope of Services: Confidere will provide bookkeeping and accounting services as described on https://www.confidere.biz/bookkeeping . We will perform our services with the degree of skill, care and diligence normally exercised by members of the bookkeeping profession.
Client Responsibilities: You will provide us with access to all necessary financial and accounting records, and will provide timely and accurate information regarding your financial affairs. You will also ensure that any accounting or financial statements we prepare are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Quickbooks Online is required.
Statements for each account must be provided with 7 days of statement release. We recommend downloading these from your accounts and sharing them with us.
Fees: Our fees for services rendered will be as set forth in our pricing on the website. Any additional services not contemplated on website will be subject to additional fees. Fees are based on monthly expenses for our basic bookkeeping which is specified in pricing chart on https://www.confidere.biz/bookkeeping . Fees will be prorated for the first month and charged the 1st of every month after. The clients credit card will be kept on file at sign up.
Confidentiality: We will maintain the confidentiality of all information provided to us by you or obtained by us in the course of our services. We will not disclose such information to third parties except as required by law or as authorized by you in writing.
Ownership of Documents: All documents and workpapers prepared by us in connection with our services will remain our property. You will be entitled to receive copies of such documents upon request, subject to payment of any outstanding fees.
Termination: Either party may terminate our engagement upon written notice to info@confidere.biz Upon termination, you will be responsible for paying all outstanding fees and expenses incurred through the date of termination.
Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any damages arising from our services will be limited to the amount of fees paid by you for such services. We will not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or special damages.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which our services are provided.
Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions, together with any engagement letter or subsequent written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions and agreements between the parties.
Independent Contractor Status: Confidere is an independent contractor and not an employee of the client, and nothing in the engagement letter or contract shall be construed as creating an employment relationship between the parties.
